Interim Manager, part Spain based for a £150M turnover marine defence business unit


  • Mapped and ran a business development campaign to access relevant people in the Spanish Navy to promote the contracting of vessel and quayside long term support packages

  • Succeeded in creating a forum at CEO level/3 star+/Ambassador level

 As Interim Manager for a specialist defence engineering and services contractor, I developed and delivered a plan to raise company presence within the Spanish Navy to provide engineered services such as those the client already provided to the British, New Zealand and other Navies.

I developed a local network that could support profile raising and developed a map of likely interest and need.

The culmination of my work was a 3 star+ white uniform/CEO level presentation and meeting and the subsequent appointment of a country manager to continue the process.
