Interim Manager, part China based, to resolve delays within domestic flagship high value projects


  • Within two days established the causes of delay and in principle the solutions

  • Setup (two days) part level tracking, responsibility allocation and escalation processes

  • Managed all, embedded processes, delays quantified and eliminated, projects came in ahead of schedule

As Interim Manager initially based in China, I was brought in to resolve late delivery of parts/assemblies for a business-critical very large parcel handling project to a key customer.

I established the root causes of delay across various functions within the business – engineering, factory, supply chain, etc – then set up and ran daily part level tracking and expediting processes to create visibility and allow specific actions to be taken.

I directly resolved one off critical path issues wherever they occurred.

My input ensured that the project delay was recovered and changed ways of working were embedded.
